Could this be the first motorcycle ever made?![]() According to some experts this was the first motorcycle ever made. The Michaux-Perreaux Steam Velocipede made in France sometime from 1867 to 1871, when a small Louis-Guillaume Perreaux commercial steam engine was attached to a Pierre Michaux manufactured iron framed pedal bicycle. The designers also developed what could be the first Trike too. ![]() Also in the running for the first motorcycle is the “Reitwagen” designed and built by the German inventors Gottlieb Daimler and Wilhelm Maybach in Bad Cannstatt, Germany in 1885.
